“We choose to go…not because [it is] easy, but because [it is] hard, because that goal will serve to measure and organize the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win.”

John Fitzgerald Kennedy, American 35th US President (1961-63), 1917-1963

There are times when we wonder… We reach a point where we don’t believe we can meet the challenge before us.  We doubt we can overcome the obstacles we’re facing.  It happens to everyone at some time.  But what is the worst that can happen if we make the attempt, if we try our very hardest to succeed?  If we should fail in our attempt, the worst that can happen is that we shall learn from our failure.  A lesson learned is never truly a failure.  It is a step toward the success we’ll reach with our next attempt.

Remove the word “quit” from your vocabulary, for it serves no purpose.  If you quit, you truly have failed, because you never put in the effort to succeed, and you learned nothing from the experience.

Meet every challenge head on.  Convince yourself that you CAN climb whatever mountains are in your path.  Even when you wonder WHETHER you can reach the top, if you “act as though” it is simply a bump in the road,  you shall exceed your own expectations.  You will be a winner!
